Hidden Mistakes

Imagine having your biggest mistake broadcast to the world and no matter what good you do or how hard you work to clear that negative imagine, someone brings it up to you daily.  Thankfully, those of us not in the public eye, don’t have to live that way, yet we criticize and condemn those in the public eye who live that life as we point fingers at their mistakes.
I thought about Chris Brown writing this.  I don’t condone domestic violence at all, but that man was a child when he made one of the worse and most public mistakes ever.  From that moment until now, when most people see Mr. Brown, his public mistake is one of the first things that pops into their heads.  He can’t seem to live it down and every other dumb mistake he’s made since that dreadful incident is highlighted and brings us right back to that first horror.  No wonder he acts like a fool at times.  I probably would too living that way and so would you.  The moral of the story is that we are all human and make mistakes.  Our mistakes can just be easily covered up. Think about that the next time you look down on someone for their public mistake as you continue to hide yours.
